STUDIO LINOL are color intensive, good covering lino printing inks for all manual relief printing techniques, such as linoleum, fabric printing and woodcut printing. The printing inks are ready-to-use, but can also be mixed with water.

LUKAS STUDIO LINOL are color intensive, good covering lino printing inks for all manual relief printing techniques, such as linoleum, fabric printing and woodcut printing. The printing inks are ready-to-use, but can also be mixed with water.

LUKAS STUDIO LINOL inks are smooth and easy to apply on a printing press, with a roller or with printing blocks, ensuring sharp, uniform and homogenous contours. On the printing press, the colors remain processable for a long time and are perfectly overprintable after drying. They adhere ideally to absorbent substrates, but provide also good adhesion on non-absorbent printing substrates, such as foil. Many materials can be used as printing blocks, including lino, wood, cardboard, rubber, twine and even natural materials like leaves and potatoes.

LUKAS STUDIO LINOL offer a comprehensive range of 12 intensive and good covering color shades. The lightfastness depends upon the color but varies from good to very good. LUKAS STUDIO LINOL are low-odour due to absence of solvents and can therefore be recommended for the pedagogical use in schools and education. After use, dried colors can easily be washed off with water from the equipment used. Even today, the wonderful craftsmanship with Linoleum and carving tool of hobby artists as well as professional artists is highly appreciated, as it allows one and the same motif to be re-created in ever new color variations, and thus to experiment with the created linocut.
